Dr. Mark Safari

Dr. Mark Safari has been a practicing dentist since 1994 when he first received his doctorate of dental surgery. He is also a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Of course, these are the types of credentials that speak of confidence and compassion. They tell every patient who comes through our doors here is a professional who is experienced and thorough.

He is a fine example of what we call our “Richmond Hill doctors that care” philosophy. After even a short conversation with him, our patients understand how dedicated he is to being proactive and helping them avoid dental issues. The doctor is well-versed in all of the latest advancements and technologies in the dental field. When you come in to see us, you can rest assured that your dental health and well-being is in experienced hands. Our main goal is always prevention. We can not emphasize enough on the importance of prevention however once it comes to treatment our experienced team would give all of its knowledge to take care of you.

Dr. Safari opened his first dental practice in 2001. Since then he’s expanded to use his expertise across several different locations in the Toronto area. Dr. Safari prides himself on an array of comprehensive dental services that include but are not limited to: Implant dentistry, periodontal services, kids dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, full mouth reconstruction as well as helping patients with sleep apnea issues. On a personal level, Dr. Safari enjoys spending time with his family. In fact, his son and daughter have both followed in his path of Dentistry.

Dr. Safari is a lover of nature. He enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, boating and gardening.

Dr. Faranak Eskandarinazhad

Dr. Faranak Eskandarinazhad obtained her DDS degree from Tabriz University of Medical Science in 2005. After practicing general dentistry in Iran for 3 years, she pursued orthodontic specialty program at Tabriz University of Medical Science, where she graduated with highest distinction in 2012. During her specialty training she worked as an assistant professor and was actively involved in orthodontic and orthognathic surgery cases in hospital settings.

Dr Faranak Eskandarinazhad achieved her Canadian dental board certification in 2017. She is currently a member of Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Although Dr. Eskandarinazhad provides general dental care for her patients, her primary interest are in Invisalign and orthodontic treatments. She is an easy-going, friendly, and caring dentist who believes listening to her patient’s concerns and expectations are her top priorities. She strives to provide her patients with the highest quality of dental care via continued education. She is a compassionate and dedicated clinician who is attentive to details. Outside work she enjoys playing tennis, ice-skating and swimming in her free time. and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Derek Chen, B.D.S.

Dr. Derek Chen obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, Australia. After working in the sunny beaches in Sydney and Newcastle, he relocated to Toronto, Canada in 2021 to be with his fiancé. Dr. Chen is fluent in English, Mandarin and can understand Cantonese.

Patients of all ages and needs often enjoy seeing Derek for his gentle and calming manner, and patience while delivering a comfortable experience in the chair. He is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, from preventative care, restoring and retaining teeth, through to cosmetic dentistry and crowns.

In his free time, Derek enjoys baking bread, running, swimming and is always looking for an excuse to get out for landscape and film photography.
